Medical interns are trained in comprehensive health in adolescence : Press Government of Mendoza

The Ministry of Health, Social Development and Sports and the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UNCuyo continue with the training cycle for students who carry out internships in health centers in the province.

Medical students who are doing internships at the first level of care in health centers in the province attend a course on comprehensive health in adolescence. The activity is part of the permanent training cycle developed jointly by the Ministry of Health, Social Development and Sports and the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNCUYO. It seeks that young people integrate into practices of the Provincial Program of Comprehensive and Integrative Health in Adolescence. The idea is that future professionals form part of the health advisory services in secondary schools and take an active role as health promoters.

Fabián Díaz, student secretary and Patricia Ramírez, secretary of University Extension of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Yemina Marzetti, Cecilia Sotano and Leandro Picighelli, from the Ministry of Health, Social Development and Sports, participate in the event, which will continue until tomorrow.
