The brand’s Trofeo range is just a few days away Maserati. In fact, exactly on August 10th, the Modena-based car manufacturer will unveil the new range to the whole world. Furthermore, thanks to the publication of a teaser it was announced – officially – that, in addition to the arrival of the Maserati Ghibli Trophy, there will also be that of Quattroporte Trophy. Both cars will be presented on the same day and will feature an installation already seen in past years, i.e. in 2018, with Raise Trophy.

For the moment, the luxury car manufacturer has not revealed what the technical specifications will characterize the two sedans. What is certain is that the Lift Trophy, under the hood, has a 3.8-liter V8 Turbo engine and is capable of reaching a power equal to 590 CV and 730 mm maximum torque. These features allow the Trident car to pass from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 300 km / h. However, it has not yet been disclosed though Ghibli Trophy e Quattroporte Trophy of the Modena brand will have the same powertrain.

Although some previous rumors seem to have confirmed that the Trident is “abandoning” the V8 engines to approach the new 3-liter twin-turbo V6 (called Neptune), the arrival of this engine on the Ghibli and Quattroporte is very difficult. So the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the new cars Maserati although, almost certainly, carbon fiber inserts and a sports exhaust system with four elements, will characterize the new jewels of the Modena car manufacturer. For all other details regarding the new cars, it will be necessary to wait until debut expected, as mentioned above, for the August 10 next.
