Mane on leaving Liverpool: I will do what the Senegalese fans want

Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane sparked widespread controversy after he hinted at his departure in the current summer transfers, in light of news of his association with Bayern Munich.

And Mane had previously said before the Champions League final last Saturday against Real Madrid that he would talk about his future after the match, saying: “I will determine my future after the final.”

“Like everyone else, I follow social media and see all the comments,” the Senegalese star said in comments reported by the “Liverpool Echo” newspaper.

He added, “Don’t 60 to 70% of the Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want, we will see soon .. Do not rush because we will see this together, the future will tell us.”

Mane made these statements in the wake of Senegal’s preparation to face Benin, which is scheduled to be held, tomorrow, Saturday, in the two teams’ first matches in the 2023 African Nations qualifiers.
