A tragedy occurred this morning in the San Carlos neighborhood of Cuscatancingo, in this capital, where a man shot at his wife and their two children, ages 7 and 4, killing them on the spot and then committing suicide with a pistol 9 mm.
The Police are in place to guard the scene, while Legal Medicine will proceed to remove the bodies.
“We report the death of 4 people in the San Carlos neighborhood, Cuscatancingo, San Salvador. This is a man who, after an argument, shot and killed his wife and his 2 children, and then committed suicide,” the PNC reported.
The events occurred in the early hours of the morning, near the bus point on Route 24.
The victims have been identified as Mario Vladimir Miranda Lainez, 7 years old, and María Elizabeth Miranda Lainez, 4 years old. The mother of the minors has been identified as Julia Mercedes Lainez Montano, and the aggressor Mario Edmundo Miranda, 60 years old.
According to information, the perpetrator was an agent of a private security company.
