Magenta buys fiber optic network operator in Tyrol and Lower Austria – Telekom

Magenta Telekom is expanding its broadband offer in rural areas and is taking over several smaller fiber optic providers in Lower Austria and Tyrol for this purpose. With the takeover of Aura, Gfi and Rudolf Geiger & Co / Kabel-TV Seefeld, 5,500 households and businesses in Lower Austria and 1,200 connections in Tyrol are moving into the Magenta network. In the coming years, 1,500 new connections will be added in new Aura buildings. Customers will be notified in the course of January.
