Freudenberg/Koblenz. According to the investigators, the twelve-year-old Luise F. from Freudenberg in Siegerland was stabbed to death. According to the results of the autopsy, the girl received “numerous knife wounds”, as a result of which the twelve-year-old bled to death, said the chief public prosecutor in Koblenz, Mario Mannweiler, at a press conference on Tuesday. He spoke of a “shattering event”.

Two girls aged 12 and 13 who are under criminal responsibility are suspected of having committed a crime. They should come from the personal environment of the dead. “The act is extraordinary, it’s not everyday life for us,” the senior public prosecutor continued.
According to a police spokesman, contradictions emerged after the first hearing of the two suspected girls. They were then questioned again on Monday. “Yesterday the children were confronted with this with the participation of relatives and under psychological care,” reported the head of the homicide squad, Florian Locker. The children admitted to the crime. “Your statements could also be supported by evidence,” Locker continued.

The Chief Public Prosecutor made it clear that the alleged perpetrators, who were underage, were not threatened with punishment. Criminal responsibility only applies from the age of 14. But that doesn’t mean that “nothing will be done now,” he emphasized. “We are now placing this case in the hands of the juvenile authorities.”
Killed Luise F. from Freudenberg: Police are looking for the crime scene again
The missing twelve-year-old girl was found dead on Sunday near a cycle path in Rhineland-Palatinate, right on the state border with North Rhine-Westphalia. On Monday, the Koblenz police and public prosecutor confirmed that the child was the victim of a crime. “The investigations carried out so far confirm the suspicion that the girl was the victim of a homicide,” said a spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office.
On Tuesday morning, the police again looked for clues around where the body was found in neighboring Rhineland-Palatinate. A local spokesman said a good 30 officers were involved in the search. Dogs or technical aids are initially not in use. The point is not to overlook any clues in the vicinity of where the body was found.
A possible reason for the action could have been the ongoing search for the murder weapon. The investigators said at the press conference that they had not yet been found. It is also not known whether it is one or more weapons.

Luise F.’s way home is a mystery
The child was last seen on Saturday around 5:30 p.m. in Freudenberg, when it was walking home after visiting a friend. When the twelve-year-old didn’t come home, the search began that evening with strong police and fire brigade forces.
It is still puzzling why the dead girl was not found on the way home from her girlfriend in the direction of Freudenberger city center, but in the opposite direction and thus in Rhineland-Palatinate territory.
