Luis Suarez will live his last adventure in his native country, Uruguay. The Nacional Montevideo formalized this Thursday the return of the 35-year-old striker, shortly before playing the final of the National Championship, finally won 1-0 against Liverpool.
Free of any contract after the end of his adventure at Atlético de Madrid, Luis Suarez, who himself had announced a preliminary agreement with the Nacional, returns for free to the club he left 16 years ago. He is committed to it for five months, in order to best prepare for the 2022 World Cup.
Uruguay will face Portugal, Ghana and South Korea in Group H hoping to count on the top scorer in their history, namely Luis Suarez and his 68 goals with Celeste.
