Logicdata will migrate its business processes to SAP S/4HANA worldwide over the next twelve months. Around 50 specialists on both sides are involved in the so-called “Mulan” project, explained the project manager responsible for the Viennese SAP consultancy CNT Management Consulting, Oliver Sommer. Logicdata Electronic & Software Entwicklungs GmbH develops and sells adjustable furniture with mechatronic components and employs around 300 people worldwide. Since 2021, the company has been part of the Chinese Zhejiang Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co. Ltd, a manufacturer of linear drives for office, industry, medicine and the automotive sector listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
As part of the merger, the company is also investing in digitization at its Deutschlandsberg site. Logicdata will be included in Jiecang’s SAP system environment. However, the company should keep its own brand – just like the product portfolio. In this way, the good customer relationships should continue to be maintained.
