LG Electronics has expanded its line of UltraGear gaming monitors with the 27-inch 27GN950, which formally debuted at January CES 2020. The device is based on a Nano IPS matrix with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and, as the vendor emphasizes, is the first 4K IPS display with a response time 1 ms (gray to gray).
Other advantages of LG UltraGear 27GN950 include 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color palette, 144 Hz refresh rate (up to 160 Hz with overclocking), 10-bit color depth and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. In addition, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certified.
On the back are HDMI 2.0 (x2) and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs, a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and a USB 3.2 splitter for two ports. Not without RGB LED backlighting, which is now equipped with most gaming products. The stand allows you to adjust the height, swivel and tilt of the display.
The LG UltraGear 27GN950 monitor will be available in European retail for an estimated price of € 929.
