The Presidential Cabinet convened to evaluate the developments on the agenda.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement after the meeting.
“WE HAVE NO LONGER ENABLED”
President Erdogan gave important messages about Syria in his speech.
Stating that the last attack in which 2 policemen were martyred in the Euphrates Shield operation region and the harassment targeting Turkish territory, the President said:
“We no longer have patience for some places that are the source of terrorist attacks against our country from Syria. We are determined to eliminate the threats emanating from these areas either together with the forces active there or with our own means. The latest attack on our policemen and the harassment targeting our lands are now over the edge. As soon as possible. We will take the necessary steps to solve these problems.”
Other highlights from Erdoğan’s statements are as follows:
“WE TAKE ALL KIND OF MEASURES REGARDING EXTRAORDINARY PRICE”
Turkey is one of the countries that carry out the best crisis management in the epidemic. Our priority is the peace and well-being of our nation. We take every precaution for our employees and producers who are in distress due to exorbitant price increases.
750 teachers with disabilities will be appointed on December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
We will continue to grow our country on the basis of investment, production, export and employment by constantly improving our current account balance in the direction of ‘surplus’.
“THE NAME OF THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND URBANIZATION IS CHANGING”
For the coming period, we will place the green development revolution at the center of all our employees. We are changing the name of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. We will raise the status of the General Directorate of Migration Management, which operates under the Ministry of Interior, and restructure it as the Directorate of Migration Management.
“WE CANNOT BECOME THE BURDEN OF MIGRANT ALONE NOW”
Recently, we are also introducing new strategies and practices in migration management. In the last 5 years, we have blocked 2 million 350 thousand people at the border without entering our country. It is no longer possible for us to undertake this burden alone. Everyone should see that the issue has reached a level that cannot be resolved with only financial burden sharing. No one should doubt that Turkey will contribute to every step to be taken in this direction.
