La Unne seeks to join the rise of new technologies in medicine

Three Faculties of the National University of the Northeast (Unne) will hold today a workshop on “Introduction to Biomedical Engineering in the NEA”. This is the Faculty of Engineering, Medicine and Exact and Natural Sciences and Surveying, whose authorities summoned specialists on the subject to speak about what they consider to be “in response to the rise of new technologies in medical treatments” .

The activity, which will be face-to-face, will take place at the headquarters of the Faculty of Engineering, Resistencia de la Unne campus, more precisely in the 1918 University Reform Hall, today from 4:45 p.m. Interested parties may register at the link provided for the occasion (available at medio.unne.edu.ar), which is essential for the digital certificates of participation to be issued later.

The specialists who will speak are: Eduardo Fernández Sardá, on biomedical engineering, the global vision in Argentina and the region; Luis Rocha will also do the same, on coordination and work with the Provincial and National Health Network in the Province of Tucumán; while Carlos Enrique Olmos will speak about support for local and regional R&D development in Biomedical Engineering in the province of Córdoba.

Finally, María Rosa Weisz will speak on hospital management and medical technology and research, accompanying the experience on the subject in the province of Entre Ríos.
