Real Betis Sevilla has secured the services of Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli from FC Barcelona.
“FC Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement for the transfer of Abdesaamad Ezzalzouli for 7.5 million euros. The Blaugrana club reserves the right to buy back the player and 50% of a future sale of the player,” the Catalan club announced on Friday evening.
“FC Barcelona publicly expresses its gratitude to Ezzalzouli for his commitment and dedication and wishes him good luck and success in the future,” added the reigning Spanish champion in a statement.
The Moroccan international joined Barca in the 2021/22 season from Hercules Alicante. On October 30, 2021, he made his debut for the Barça first team against Deportivo Alavés in a league match. In this first season with the Blaugrana, he made 12 appearances and scored one goal.
In the 2022/23 season, the Moroccan international is loaned to Osasuna, where he consolidates his place in the first division and has a great season. He helps the Pamplona club finish in seventh place and reach the Copa del Rey final. With Osasuna he played 34 matches and scored 6 goals.
