St. Paul (dpa) – ice hockey international Tom Kühnhackl has celebrated another victory with the New York Islanders in the North American NHL after three consecutive defeats.
The Brooklyn-based team defeated Minnesota Wild 3-1 away (0-1, 0-0, 3-0). The 27-year-old Landshuter scored his first goal of the season in the 58th minute to make it 3-1. National goalkeeper Thomas Greiss was not used. With 51 points, the Islanders are in second place in the Metropolitan Division.
Tobias Rieder and Calgary Flames clearly lost 2: 4 (0: 3, 1: 0, 1: 1) in the Canadian duel against the Vancouver Canucks. The 26-year-old Landshuter remained without a scorer point.
The Anaheim Ducks were beaten by the Philadelphia Flyers 1: 2 (1: 1, 0: 0, 0: 0, 0: 1) after extra time. The Munich Korbinian Holzer remained without counting at the bankruptcy of his team.
