In a recent interview for Toronto SunJames Gunn was promoting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 alongside Chris Pratt, but that hasn’t stopped the director from talking a bit about his next project in the new DC Extended Universe.
At one point, the director told Chris Pratt that he hoped he could cast him as Krypto the superdog in Superman: Legacyalleging that “You could do motion capture on set and walk on your hands and knees, but you can’t talk”.
Pratt played along by saying that he will play Krypto in exchange for being paid in crypto. “I will pay you in cryptocurrency, which equals zero dollars”the director replied between laughs.
Even though they were joking, It seems that the thing about Krypto appearing in Superman: Legacy was serious by giving Gunn to understand that “it’s a scoop, I guess”.
