Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia), Sep 3 (EFE).- The German Lennard Kamna (Bora Hansgrohe) won the ninth stage of the Tour of Spain alone, disputed between Cartagena and Collado de la Cruz de Caravaca, 184, 5 km, in which the American Sepp Kuss (Jumbo Visma) kept the red jersey of the leader.
Kamna, the strongest of the good breakaway of the day, reached the finish line alone with a time of 4h.34.03, followed 30 seconds behind by the Italian Matteo Sobrero (Jayco).
In the general classification, Kuss kept the red ahead of the Spanish Marc Soler.
This Monday, the Vuelta a España will enjoy the first day of rest and the peloton will move to Valladolid, where activity returns on Tuesday with a 25.8 km time trial.
