The new season of the hit Star Wars series premieres new episodes every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
Last week one of the most successful series on the House of Mouse streaming platform returned to Disney Plus Spain. We refer, of course, to The Mandalorian, the series of Star Wars that opened the way to the maelstrom of programs of the saga for streaming.
Pedro Pascal gets back into the armor of Your Djarin every Wednesday, accompanied by Grogthe endearing Baby Yoda, on new adventures in that galaxy far, far away.
One of the qualities of The Mandaalorian is that it is a series that is not completely based on the imaginary of the Force, the Jedi and the Sith. Even though Grogu was training to be a Jedi, Boba Fett’s book saw the little one Baby Yoda choose the Mandalorian path to meet with Din Djarin.
But what differentiates the Jedi from the Mandalorians? Jon Favreau himself wants to address those differences, and the similarities, in the new season of The Mandalorian.
In a recent interview with Screen RantJon Favreau has explained how they intend to explore the differences, but also the commonalities, between Mandalorians and Jedi through the Star Wars series.
“There is plenty of material to differentiate Jedi from Mandalorians: historically they were enemies. But, if we stick to the study of both mythologies and the two cultures, we also find commonalities, all while trying to draw on the same inspirations that George had. [Lucas]“.
Peter Pascal returns to our screens tomorrow with episode 2 of the third season of The Mandalorian, after walking the flag in various corners of the galaxy in the return of the Star Wars series.
Naturally, The Mandalorian sets out to further explore Mandalorian culture through the momentous mission that Din Djarin and Grogu have ahead of them, which will go a long way in helping to differentiate the adherents of the Mandalorian Creed from the legendary, albeit “extinct” Knights. Jedi.
