Like the Pennsylvania team, forward Joel Farabee does not know the expected season. Limited to 26 points in 60 games, the American winger was only entitled to 3 min 52 s. game in their 4-3 win over the Calgary Flames on Monday.
Trade outlet Daily Faceoff then reported that his agent, Shawn Hunwick, expressed his displeasure to Flyers general staff over Farabee’s use in 2022-23.
Friday, before a 5-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens, Tortorella was made aware of the situation and he didn’t mince his words.
“His agent is not happy? This is what’s happening? He’s complaining to the media because he’s mad about Joel? Oh my God. He should just shut up. Agents shouldn’t be involved in this,” he said with his usual casualness, according to the NBC network.
Before playing under Tortorella, Farabee notably had a season of 20 goals and 38 points in 55 games during the shortened 2020-2021 season.
