Official 3* show jumping competition of the Royal Guard

Rider Jad Guerraoui, riding “Virtuoso Des Flagues”, won the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as part of the Official 3* Show Jumping Competition of the Royal Guard, organized on Sunday at the Hipica quarry in Tetouan .
During this competition, organized by the Royal Guard, under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Jad Guerraoui took first place by completing the course in 33 sec 71/100th.
Second place went to Ghali Boukaa, riding “A Kyss”, which set a time of 34 sec 25/100th, while 3rd place was also occupied by Jad Guerraoui with “Empire VDV Z” (39 sec 35/ 100th).
At the end of this event, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, accompanied by Major General Abdelaziz Chatar, Commander of the Royal Guard, and the wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mohamed Mhidia, presented the prizes to the riders who won the first three places, in the presence of civil and military personalities. In a statement to MAP, Jad Guerraoui expressed his joy at having won the first His Majesty King Mohammed VI Grand Prix in his professional career, stressing that he aspires to win more titles and prizes at national and international levels. , with a view to achieving his dream of participating in the Olympic Games and winning one of the medals.
For his part, Commander Mohammed Khouny of the Royal Guard indicated that this Official 3* Show Jumping Competition, which took place from May 5 to 7, saw the participation of the most eminent riders from affiliated national equestrian clubs. to the FRMSE, noting that the last day was marked by the progress of the major event of this meeting which is the Grand Prix His Majesty King Mohammed VI. “We express our deep appreciation and gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, for the particular interest that the Sovereign grants to the organization of this sporting event” , he said.
In total, 95 riders riding approximately 170 horses competed for the various prizes of this Competition.
On the program were 19 events that included crossing options of varying difficulty, including those reserved for the cadet, junior, senior and amateur categories.
