TUI Cruises is preparing the restart of the fifth of a total of seven ships: After more than 16 months without guests, Mein Schiff 4 will finally welcome passengers on board again from July 8, 2021, when it starts its first cruises from / to Genoa to the west The Mediterranean breaks up.
The Mein Schiff 4 will be on two different, one-week routes along the Italian coast with side trips to France, which can also be combined with each other. For the time being, TUI Cruises has released four departure dates for booking – July 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2021.
Both routes each include three days at sea and a stop in Civitavecchia (Rome). The other destinations are Ajaccio (Corsica) and Palermo or Cannes and Salerno. The advantage of Genoa as an embarkation and disembarkation port: For the first time, a Mediterranean cruise with individual arrival is possible again, which will be particularly pleasing to customers from southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
TUI Cruises’ health and hygiene concept also requires two Covid-19 tests before the trip for Italy cruises. In addition, Mein Schiff 4 will operate with a reduced capacity of a maximum of 60 percent. Shore excursions are only possible on excursions arranged by TUI Cruises. The prices with Premium All Inclusive start at 1,099 euros per person in the balcony cabin.
The Mein Schiff 5 from / to Crete in Greece and the Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 6 from / to Kiel in the Baltic Sea are currently in service from the TUI Cruises fleet. From June 17, 2021 Mein Schiff 2 will follow with Spain cruises from / to Palma de Mallorca. This means that only Mein Schiff 3 and Mein Schiff Herz are waiting for their first missions since the beginning of the corona pandemic.
