Israel Rainbow Coalition Overthrown, New Opportunity for Former Prime Minister Netanyahu | Abroad

Israeli Foreign Minister Lapid replaces Bennett

TEL AVIV – Israel has to go to the polls again, the fifth time in more than three years. The governing coalition, which has stumbled from crisis to crisis in recent weeks, decided to give up on Monday evening. The unique collaboration between a wide range of parties, including an Arab one, is thus coming to an end after a year, although the Knesset must officially dissolve itself in a vote next week.
