Milan – The tests carried out today by Hakan Calhanoglu confirmed the injury suffered by the international midfielder in Turkey’s defeat against Croatia. It is a muscle strain in the right thigh adductor. He will have it for about 15-20 days, which means that he will not be available for the matches against Fiorentina (this Saturday), Juventus (April 4 in the Italian Cup) and Salernitana (April 7 in the league). The hope is to have him back at least in part on the 11th in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Benfica, more likely Calhanoglu will run in against Monza on the 15th and then return in full and for the whole of the 19th again against the Lusitanians, or at least this is the hope of the player and technical staff. In place of the Turk, Marcelo Brozovic will return as manager, who in recent weeks had had a couple of important chances (also against Juventus) but without being able to make the most of them and always alternating in his own role with Calhanoglu. Good news also comes from the infirmary. Gosens and Bastoni are in fact fully recovered, while Dimarco will be decided only tomorrow. In attack, on Saturday at 6pm against the Viola, the attacking duo formed by Lukaku and Martinez should return.
