Official data revealed today, Thursday, that inflation in Argentina rose sharply again after it eased in the first year of the Corona virus crisis.
And the statistics agency “INDEC” announced that the inflation rate in that South American country rose by 14.8 percentage points to 50.9 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year.
Argentina has one of the highest inflation rates in the world. Although the government has frozen prices for many products and services, inflation in 2021 was the second highest in the past 30 years.
