Apple is accelerating the relocation of its production outside of China. By 2027, the Apple firm should produce 45 to 50% of its iPhones in India, as much as in China, according to an analyst from Digitimes Research.
Apple engages in a race against time to locate a growing part of its production outside of China. India and Vietnam stand out as the two main beneficiaries of this migration. According to Luke Lin, an analyst at Digitimes Research, quoted by the Taiwanese news site DigitimesIndia is expected to produce 45-50% of Apple’s iPhones by 2027, on par with China, where 80-85% of iPhones were produced in 2022.
