In Ukraine, where general mobilization is ongoing, in some cases a person who has been called up for military service can count on the credit of seniority for the appointment of a pension on preferential terms. About this reported in the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

“According to Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine dated 20.12.1991 No. 2011-ХІІ “On social and legal protection of military personnel and members of their families”, if at the time of conscription for military service in a special period, a person worked in a profession or held a position that gives the right to grant pensions on preferential terms, the corresponding period of military service will be included in the insurance experience, which gives the right to the appointment of an old-age pension on preferential terms. Such a period of military service should not exceed the duration of preferential work”says the message.

So, for example, if a person worked as a miner underground before mobilization, then the period of working in a mine during a full-time working day in particularly harmful or particularly difficult conditions is confirmed by a certificate of preferential nature of work issued by the enterprise, or according to the data of the register of insured persons of the State Register of General Conditions. compulsory state social insurance.
