The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Mali set up in early July 2022, in the Ménaka region, mobile clinics tobring health and nutrition services to local communities. The aim of this action is to “prevent and respond to the malnutrition crisis” according to UNICEF.
It must be remembered that the July 11, threats and intimidation by armed men displaced dozens of households in the village of Tinabaw near the town of Menaka. Several dozen households moved into the town after nine civilians were killed by armed groups.
