A step in the right direction

The authors of the British study warn against drawing wrong conclusions. So one cannot assume that people who have had a previous corona cold are automatically protected from Covid-19. Not even that it is even possible to “terminate the infection” is certain.

The study also leaves many questions unanswered. This includes, for example, why the rapid immune defense works for some people and not for others. Because it is assumed that most people have already been in contact with coronavirus in some form.

Nevertheless, the study could be a possible thrust for future vaccines. Because if it were actually possible to prepare the body’s immune system for all types of coronavirus, this could also ensure protection against future mutations. However, further studies are required for this.
