If you have one of these Xiaomi smartphones, do not update to MIUI 13

It had been a long time since Xiaomi updates had not caused serious problems for users. However, in the last week users of two models of Redmi and POCO have suffered serious failures after updating to MIUI 13.

According to the information provided by several users in the brand’s forum, some users they are complaining about system crashes and even not being able to interact with their own phones.

It is true that Xiaomi’s strategy to focus on offering more and more stable versions is paying offespecially when compared to the number of bugs that were reported during the deployment of MIUI 12. But, even so, the latest version of MIUI is bringing some users’ heads.

Specifically the affected models they are the Redmi Note 10 5G and the POCO M3 Pro 5G. After receiving the last update V13.0.1.0.SKSMIXM based on Android 12, they are suffering from serious problems.

The general problem they report focuses on their panel either at the level of content display on the screens, or directly that the panel does not turn on, making it impossible to use the terminal.

The solution that they are giving for now from the Xiaomi Community is to return to the previous version based on MIUI 12.5 and Android 11. Therefore, if you have not yet updated, we recommend that you do not do so until the company solves this serious bug.
