With the early praise of “Topscorer” and “Goal Getter”, the VSV presents its latest addition. With Anthony Luciani, who comes from Södertälje from Sweden’s second division, legionnaire number ten at Villach is now taken in again. Luciani is no stranger to the league and lets strong numbers do the talking. 173 points in 130 ICE games (Znojmo and Dornbirn) is on the business card.
“Anthony is a fast winger with a strong drive towards the goal and very pronounced scoring potential. A real top scorer. He will make us even stronger on the offensive and above all more efficient,” says VSV General Manager Andreas Napokoj.
The blue and whites continue on Tuesday – Migross Supermercati Asiago, a league newcomer, makes a guest appearance in the Stadthalle. “I’m very excited, I’m really looking forward to Villach, the city, the club and of course the team as well as the extremely loud fans. I think we can be very successful together this year. I really want to do my part,” Luciani is quoted by the VSV. The 32-year-old will arrive in his new home on Tuesday and follow the match against Asiago from the stands. The Canadian will be in the lineup for the first time against Innsbruck on Friday.
