HSBC Mexico bank announced that, from July, it will reimburse 25% of expenses in participating establishments for people who are not customers and open an account. The conditions will be to pay with the debit card of said institution and use mobile banking at least once a month.
“Electricity, natural gas, internet, fixed and mobile telephone services in your home, among others, They will get a 25% refund of what they bill for it per month, ”HSBC said in a statement.

“The confinement and remote work that COVID-19 triggered in various companies brought relief in terms of social distancing, but also an increase in household service billing of up to 25%, at the end of March, according to our records. Therefore, at HSBC we want to help reduce the financial burden on our clients who contract their first account with us, by reimbursing a portion of these expenses, “said Juan Parma, deputy general manager of consumer banking at HSBC Mexico and Latin America .
The promotion will be available for accounts contracted between July 1 and next September 30 and the refund of the payment of the services indicated will be applicable until the end of the year.

The bank clarified that the maximum reimbursements that customers can obtain will depend on the type of account contracted and will range from $ 100 pesos to $ 300 per month for the remainder of 2020.
The refund will be made in the first 15 business days of the month following the billing.
