After the suspension of March 11, the NBA will return this Thursday to complete its 2019/2020 season. The competition, which will take place in the so-called Orlando bubble, in the complexes that Disney has in Florida, will have a regular mini-phase to determine the final positions of the campaign until August 14 and then the exciting series of playoffs will arrive, that will settle the champion.

The first games will be on Thursday, with duels between the New Orleans Pelicans-Utah Jazz starting at 7:30 p.m. and the Los Angeles classic between Lakers and Clippers starting at 10:00 p.m. In Argentina, both games will be available on DirecTV Sports.

For this special stage, the competition format is different from the usual one. Only 22 of the 30 teams that make up the NBA will be in Orlando: the eight that were left out of the excursion (six from the East and two from the West) are those who no longer had a chance to qualify for the playoffs at the time of the suspension.

Thus the things, each franchise will play eight games between this Thursday, July 30 and August 14 to complete the regular season. Since 12 of the teams already have the qualification assured to the playoffs, the mystery will not abound in this stage, more dedicated to putting the players in rhythm.

One of the novelties will go through the dispute of the eighth position in each conference, the last one that grants a passage to the playoffs: if the ninth classified is four or less victories away from the eighth, he will have the right to take away the place in a series two games, having to win both to stay with the privilege. Once the process is completed, the playoffs will begin, which will be played from August 17 to mid-October and will respect their usual format, with series for the best of seven games. Of course, this time, the locality will not be a factor, unless the set in question is called Orlando Magic.

Below, the list of the matches and the way in which it can be followed on television in Argentina.
