Hofer recalls anchovies

Because there may be glass splinters, Hofer is now recalling anchovies.
There Discounts Hofer recalled the product “Gourmet anchovy specialty – variety Provenciale” from the supplier VOG AG on Tuesday due to possible contamination with glass splinters. The sale was stopped immediately, Hofer said in a press release. Affected are products with a best-before date of October 26, 2023.
Anchovies available from Hofer since October
The anchovies have been available in all Austrian branches since October. Consumption is discouraged. Consumers can return the anchovy specialty in all branches. The purchase price will be refunded even without a receipt.
