7.104 LBP for every kilowatt hour.
For meter subscribers in cities or crowded gatherings, or at an altitude of less than 700 meters:
– Capacity of 5 amps: 30,000 L.L. + Monthly installment x 7.104 LBP for every kilowatt hour.
– Capacity of 10 amps: 80,000 L.L. + Monthly installment x 7.104 LBP for every kilowatt hour.
7.814 LBP for every kilowatt hour.
For counters subscribers in villages or distant areas or at an altitude of more than 700 meters:
– Capacity of 5 amps: 30000 L.L. (fixed) + monthly lump sum x 7.814 LBP. for every kilowatt-hour.
– Capacity of 10 amps: 80000 L.L. (fixed) + monthly lump sum x 7.814 LBP. for every kilowatt-hour.
* 50,000 L.L will be added. On the fixed portion of the meter price for each additional 5 amperes.
This tariff is based on the average price of a diesel fuel tank (20 liters) for the month of November, which amounts to 340,794 LBP. After calculating all the expenses, benefits and costs of generators, in addition to a good profit margin for their owners, we have taken into consideration, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the cost of distributing the plate from the gas station to the generator.
This price has been issued based on the calculation table approved by the Ministry of Energy since 10/14/2010; And in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 2 issued on 12/14/2011 regarding taking the necessary measures to control the pricing of private generators, and based on the inter-ministerial implementation mechanism (internal energy and economy) announced on 12/20/2011, which determined the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy and Water in Circulating the pricing of private generators based on the diesel prices at the end of each month.
Hence, the Ministry of Energy and Water calls on the owners of generators to abide by the decision of the Ministry of Economy and Trade to compel the installation of meters, and it will conduct a documented study in this regard in the coming period in order to update the approved equation to suit more and more with fluctuations in exchange rates and the economic and social situation of citizens, taking into account the requirements of owners special generators.
The Ministry of Energy and Water also announced that it “sent to the Ministries of Interior and Economy books about the November 2021 pricing to do the required according to the joint control mechanism.”
Note: With regard to elevators and common sections that share three-phase capabilities, the generator owner should calculate the fixed portion of the pricing on the basis of the monophase capacity. For example, if the elevator and the common sections are subscribed to a three-phase circuit breaker 3 x 15 amps, the fixed segment is calculated on the basis of a capacity of 15 amps and not 45 amps, i.e. 130,000 liras and not 430,000 liras.
