The Colombian newspaper El Tiempo reported in a report published this Sunday that the jet used by the doctor Christian Emmanuel Sanon, accused in the assassination of Haiti, was a key clue for the FBI.

The HI-949 jet belongs to the Helidosa company, owned by former presidential candidate Gonzalo Castillo.

Just the itineraries of this jet, described as luxurious by the Colombian newspaper, was one of the FBI’s key clues about the crime.

A photo, which EL TIEMPO reveals exclusively, shows the Haitian doctor Christian Emmanuel Sanon, accused of being one of the masterminds of the assassination, on the steps of the aircraft, valued at 1.2 million dollars, and operated by Helidosa SA, ”the newspaper published.

In this photograph, together with Sanon, the former Colombian military officer Arcángel Pretelt Ortiz, an Ecuadorian identified as Walter Veintemilla, and the Venezuelan Antonio Intriago, president of the CTU Security company, and suspected of having recruited the Colombian mercenaries involved in the assassination appear.

Likewise, El Tiempo indicated that the aforementioned participated in the meeting where the assassination plan was devised, held in Miami, United States, and from there they traveled to La Isabela International Airport, located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with the objective of “fine-tuning the hiring of the command.”

Jovenel Moise was assassinated on July 7 at his residence. His wife, Martine Moise, was injured, was admitted to a Miami health center and returned to Haiti on Saturday.


Haitian authorities arrested Christian Emmanuel Sanon, a doctor living in Florida, USA, on Sunday.

“When the advance of the bandits was blocked, the first person they called was Emmanuel Sanon,” said the director general of the Haitian National Police, Léon Charles, in an intervention before the press, in which he considered that the reason of crime is “political.”
