In a recent meeting, the state government approved the appointment of Helena Saltuari as state kindergarten director on the proposal of state councilor Philipp Achammer. With this decision and the subsequent signing of the appointment decree, the selection process, which was launched on February 19, 2020, will be completed. However, Helena Saltuari is not a new appointment; the 40-year-old educational scientist has been managing the regional kindergarten director since September 2018, where she has inherited the long-term kindergarten inspector Christa Messner.

“I have seen Helena Saltuari as competent and solution-oriented over the past two years, so I know that the coordination of our many kindergartens is in the best hands,” said State Councilor Achammer.

Before moving to Bozen, Helena Saltuari headed the Mühlbach kindergarten sprinkler. In the past, Saltuari was a kindergarten teacher and head of kindergarten at various kindergartens in South Tyrol and was responsible for the internship at the internship office of the University in Brixen. Saltuari studied educational science at the University of Bozen.
