Héléna Moon is an artist like no other, she is a contortionist and has been performing for several years. While studying (she has a Master 2 in cinema), Héléna Moon, who has practiced classical dance since the age of six, performed in cabaret in Paris. “I was very flexible, a trapeze artist guided me towards contortion,” explains the intermittent.
At 19, she began to take lessons with Ericka Maury-Lascoux, famous contortionist of the duo Les Mandragores, “one session, then two to three a day. It takes a lot of patience before progressing, ”adds Héléna Moon. She has since performed on stage all over the world: Paris, Germany, Italy, England, Mauritius and Las Vegas in the United States… “The contortionist act is choreographed, very worked, the artist expresses himself with her body, to music, ”she explains. Frequently a photo model, the young woman has made several appearances on the cover or in prestigious magazines such as Causette or Marie-Claire. She also has many appearances on TV shows.
A network to build common projects
Successive confinements have upset his practice. “Since May, I have been going to work in Paris once a month: dance show, yoga, advertising, short film. I work a lot in the event industry, but I lost two more dates this month ”.
Since she has been living in Sainte Marine, near her family, Héléna Moon would like to form a local network with painters, sculptors, visual artists, dressmakers, photographers, musicians, directors, communication companies… “In the goal of working together, to have theater projects, videos, shows… ”, she explains.
