Hedi case: “It's not honest”, the young man reacts to the release of the police officer in question

The author of the LBD shooting who would have seriously injured Hedi was released this Friday, September 1, 2023. The Marseille policeman had been in pre-trial detention for 40 days.

He denounces a “form of injustice”. Hedi, seriously injured in July by an LBD shot on the sidelines of the riots in Marseille, did not hide his “disappointment with our colleagues from BFM TV this Saturday, concerning the release of the policeman who allegedly targeted him. The Marseille official was placed under judicial control.

“It hit me hard”

“On a psychological level, with the decision that there was yesterday, it took a hit,” said the youngster. He also denounced “a form of injustice”. “I tell myself that we are giving him the opportunity to come out, when he confessed after so many lies, it is not honest,” he added.

Incidentally, the 22-year-old reaffirmed that he was not taking part in the riots the night he was injured and explained that he “did not see what the policeman saw”. According to him, four police officers from the BAC beat him up and left him for dead.

In any case, Hedi came out of that night seriously injured, since part of his skull had to be amputated. A next intervention is planned in order to “give him back the missing part of his skull”.
