Days after the death of Josefina Gomís, Héctor Suárez Gomís, his son, dedicated a tender and emotional message to pioneer in educational television. In the text, the actor revealed what his mother’s last moments were like, which passed away on December 26 after spending a few months ill.

“In recent months, my sister came from Minnesota every seven weeks and I came back from Miami to take care of her and keep an eye on her. The last few weeks he was fading little by little, and on the morning of December 26 he began to have trouble breathing, it was difficult for him to speak. I brought him a small notebook and a pen so that he could write what he wanted to say to me. He tried to write, “I can’t breathe,” but it was just a few little squiggles. The pen fell off, she leaned back in her chair, I took her in my arms and a few seconds later, she stopped breathing. “

The actor’s son Hector Suarez shared a series of images where, on some postcards, the actor’s parents are seen together, stating that Pepita Gomís it was a woman who he loved his family.

“He had only one love in his life (my dad), he deeply loved his grandchildren, his friends, my sister and me.”

But that was not the only message that Hector Suárez Gomís has dedicated to his mother through social networks, a medium in which he confirmed the Pepita’s death and where, months ago, he requested blood for her.

In its official Instagram account, Suárez Gomís has shared some anecdotes with his mother, touching colleagues from the middle of the show and followers.

“While she had a master’s degree in History, she loved to tell me about Greece, the Roman Empire, the French Revolution and the History of Mexico when we were heading to Televicentro, and on the way back she would ask me questions to make sure I had learned my lesson. She was always a great teacher and I will never forget that sweet and tender little voice with which she always taught me “
