The Department of Health reported today, Wednesday, two new deaths from COVID-19 that brought the total accumulated in this line to 3,266 since the emergency began.
According to the agency’s portal, the deaths occurred on November 14 and 15, but were reported in today’s report.
The victims are a 74-year-old woman from the Caguas region and a 95-year-old man from the Fajardo region.
On the other hand, the agency reported that 46 people are hospitalized for the virus. The total is broken down into 39 adults and seven minors.
Of the adults hospitalized, there are five in intensive care and three are connected to an artificial respirator.
What’s more, there is a minor in intensive care and connected to an artificial respirator.
On the other hand, the virus’s positivity rate on the island was 2.32%, according to the Health portal.
The average number of confirmed positive cases reported by the agency is 55, while that of probable cases is 32. Health included in the average the results of samples taken between November 8 and 22 of this year.
Regarding vaccination, the agency said that 2,583,662 people older than 12 years have received at least one dose of the licensed vaccines and 2,340,959 people older than 12 years have the dose series completed.
