Hawaiian Airlines (HAL/HA) has resumed its Honolulu-Fukuoka route for the first time in three years. Freight transportation between Fukuoka, Hawaii and the mainland US has resumed, with three round trips per week.

Flights depart from Honolulu on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and depart from Fukuoka on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Flight HA827 to Fukuoka will depart Honolulu at 1:35pm and arrive at 6:40pm the following day. Flight HA828 to Honolulu will depart Fukuoka at 8:40pm and arrive at 9:55am. The aircraft will be an Airbus A330-200 with 278 seats in three classes (18 business seats, 68 extra comfort seats, 192 economy seats).
Hawaiian launched a Honolulu-Fukuoka route on April 16, 2012 with seven round trips per week (one round trip per day), but temporarily withdrew from Fukuoka after June 30, 2014. She returned to service on 26 November 2019. After that, it was suspended from March 2020 due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), but it resumed from Honolulu on April 28 and from Fukuoka on April 30 this year.
Currently, there are three routes to Japan: Honolulu-Haneda, Narita and Kansai, all of which operate seven round trips a week.
