British novelist J.K. Rowling’s adventures of “Harry Potter”

British novelist J.K. Rowling, author of the adventures of “Harry Potter,” has revealed that she has received a huge number of death threats from anti-transgender activists.

The novelist wrote on Twitter: “I received so many death threats that I can now cover the walls of my house,” stressing that “it will not silence her.”

Rowling complained that three transgender activists filmed themselves in front of her house last week, and made sure to take the photo in a place where her home address appeared, and posted it on Twitter.

Rowling angered “transgender people”, when she published a satirical tweet two years ago criticizing the use of the phrase “people who menstruate” instead of the word “women”.

Rowling said at the time that she and other women who spoke out about issues of different sexual choices faced campaigns of intimidation, including harassment on social networks, disclosure of their personal data, and direct threats of violence.

Rowling accused the three activists, who posted her address online, of doing so to “intimidate her and prevent her from standing up for women’s rights on the basis of biological sex”.

For its part, the Scottish police said, “An investigation is underway into the case.”
