“Halo Infinite”: Multiplayer is coming ++ ++ “Witcher” spin-off
You still have a lot to learn. That is why there are the most exciting short news about films, series and games.
Netflix announces new “Witcher” series
Although the production of the filming for season 2 of “The Witcher” is currently difficult (for reasons), Netflix is busy working on the “Witcher” universe. The streaming service has now surprised fans on Twitter with the announcement of another live action series. It is titled “The Witcher: Blood Origins” and takes place 1200 years before the events surrounding Geralt, Ciri and Co. The consequences of spherical conjunction and the encounter of humans, elves, dwarves and other creatures are to be told.
In addition, there is not really much information yet. The first season should consist of six episodes. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who already has the current “Witcher” series under her wing, will be responsible.
It is the second project beyond the original “Witcher” series that Netflix has commissioned. An anime film is also in the works to illuminate the background story of Vesemir. The film is entitled “Nightmare of the Wolf”.
Trailer for interactive «Batman» film: You decide whether Robin dies
Since Netflix made the headlines worldwide with its interactive film “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”, various other interactive films have been in development. A first trailer is now available for one of them, an animated “Batman” film.
In the film you have to decide relatively soon whether Robin dies, survives on his own or is saved by Batman. Depending on how you decide, a different story develops afterwards. Of course, there are other decisions that have to be made and that will influence the story. Already in the trailer we see Jason Todd not only as Robin, but also as Red Robin, Red Hood or Hush. So this should indicate that our decision affects which alter ego Jason accepts if we let him survive.
The whole thing is titled “Batman: Death in the Family” and should appear on Blu-Ray this fall. Unfortunately, this start date only applies to the USA for the time being.

Multiplayer in “Halo Infinite” is special
The Microsoft promotional campaign for “Halo Infinite” has started and there is new information almost every day. What Microsoft has kept from us so far is the multiplayer mode. Phil Spencer, who heads the Xbox division at Microsoft, has now taken pity and teased the mode a bit. In an interview with the YouTube channel iJustine, he said, among other things, that the multiplayer mode would be special. The following three things pulled Spencer out of his nose:
- The “Halo Infinite” multiplayer will be based on that of “Halo 5”. The decision was made because the players had received it very positively.
- The 343 Industries development team challenged itself for the new multiplayer with some technical challenges. They had mastered them and he was very proud of what the team had achieved with them. Unfortunately, he did not explain exactly what this means.
- The new multiplayer mode was developed in close collaboration with professional «Halo» players. Thanks to their feedback, they hope to be able to give the mode the finishing touch.

The reluctant communication from Microsoft about the multiplayer has recently caused a lot of speculation. Many suspected that the multiplayer would not be ready in time for the game to launch. 343 Industries has clearly given up on this rumor on Twitter.
“Halo Infinite” is due to appear in 2020 as a launch title for the Xbox Series X. (pls)
