A popular singer who has appeared on the Hallmark Channel multiple times over the years had a horrifying bicycle accident on Wednesday. Amy Grant, who starred in Hallmark’s “Tennessee Christmas” alongside Kellie Pickler, Vince Gill and Michael W. Smith, was hospitalized after the incident.

Grant was with a friend at the time of the accident, People detailed. Apparently Grant fell while riding a bike, although no further details of the fall itself have been released. The Christian singer was in stable condition and remained in hospital overnight Wednesday. Page Six reported that Grant decided to stay Wednesday night, a decision she made out of caution. Grant’s team has provided fans with an update

As news of Grant’s accident and hospitalization spread, his management team shared an update on their Twitter page. The brief statement confirmed that Grant was in hospital in stable condition, and it was expected that she would soon be released to return home.
