Erling Haaland’s contract with Manchester City will include a release clause.

The option to buy the striker for 150 million euros can be activated after two years of his agreement with the English club, Get German Football News reports with reference to Bild.

City buys the Norwegian from Borussia for 75 million – this amount is spelled out in his contract with the Dortmund club as compensation.

In total, the transfer of the 21-year-old striker will cost Man City almost 250 million euros, including salary. Commission for agents – 50 million euros.

Earlier it was reported that Real Madrid refused from the transfer of Haaland due to the requirement of Raiola to prescribe a release of 150 million euros.

Haaland moved to Borussia Dortmund in January 2020. In two and a half seasons, he scored 85 goals in 88 matches for the German club and gave 23 productive passes. His detailed statistics are available here.
