Gunzburg advised the elderly on the Sputnik V drug for repeated revaccination

When revaccinating, it is recommended to choose Sputnik Light, but for people over 65 it makes sense to put two components of the Sputnik V vaccine. This was stated by the director of the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamaleya Alexander Gintsburg.

“We need to choose Sputnik Light,” Ginzburg is quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

According to him, if a citizen is over 65 years old, then it makes sense to revaccinate with Sputnik V.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that almost 11 million people in the country were revaccinated against coronavirus.
