Grupo Gaman, a holding company for companies in the insurance, risk prevention and occupational health sectors, has acquired 30% of the shares of the Center for Psychophysical Evaluations (CEMLA), a leading company in occupational medicine. It also acquired the “golden share” of the firm.
The new acquisition of Grupo Gaman is part of its policy of growth and investment in national markets, and also aims to strengthen the model of Comprehensive Risk Advisors. In this line, the purchases of EHS Risk Prevention and ARD Health Services were previously completed.
With more than 57 years of leading advice on occupational health in the local market, CEMLA provides services to more than 2,200 companies and institutions, has two fully equipped medical centers and mobile health units for periodic examinations in the plant.
Among the main services it offers are: comprehensive medical advice for companies, absence control, pre-employment exams, doctor and nurse on the floor, LiNTI and telemedicine, among others.
Regarding the operation, the General Manager of CEMLA, Gustavo Finkelsztein, said: «The main objective is to join Grupo Gaman’s strategic project to be pioneers in Comprehensive Risk Assessment, with multidisciplinary teams at the service of clients. We believe that it is essential to accompany the transformation process in occupational health, by integrating our contribution to the range of services currently provided by the Group at the federal level.”
While the president of Grupo Gaman, Juan Manuel Manganaro, pointed out: “With the recent acquisition of ARD Servicios de Salud, the Group is progressing in the consolidation of the strategic plan to be comprehensive risk advisors.
