Colombia seeks a ceasefire.
The government delegations of Colombia and the guerrilla of the National Liberation Army (ELN) The third cycle of peace talks formally began on Tuesday in Havana.
The round in Cuba, with slightly less than a month of planned meetings, will focus on the search for a bilateral ceasefire, in humanitarian relief and in the participation of civil society in the peace process.
This third cycle of talks follows the contacts that were held in Venezuela last November and then in Mexico between February and March, in which the foundations of the talks were laid and the first advances were made.
