Ubisoft announced today in cooperation with Capcom that the fighters Ryu, Chun-Li and Akuma from Capcom’s Street Fighter are now available in Brawlhalla as a new Epic Crossover.

The arrival of the fighters is also the starting signal for an in-game event with the new “Street Brawl” game mode. In this mode, the players assert themselves: inside in a 2D battle setting with life bars, in the style of Street Fighter. There is also a new KO effect with the iconic Street Fighter-inspired KO text as well as a new podium and a Satsui no Hado emote for the perfect culmination of a fight. Four new avatars and a new 1v1 map based on Suzaku Castle have also been added. The avatars show Zangrief, the Shadaloo symbol, a Hadoken and an animated avatar depicting a quarter-circle forward stroke.

The Street Fighter crossover brings glory and admiration:

  • Ryu – Epic crossover for Petra – Ryu is always on the lookout for the next strongest opponent in order to improve. Many of his iconic techniques such as the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, Shoryuken, and Hadoken were adopted in Brawlhalla.

  • Chun-Li – Epic crossover for Wu Shang – The strongest woman in the world shows her opponents how to take a kick. She brings her own techniques like the Spinning Bird Kick and Kikosho to Brawlhalla.

  • Akuma – Epic crossover for Val – The master of the fist is out to defeat the gods and tear them to pieces. He attains ultimate power with his Tatsumaki Zankukyaku and Zanku Hadoken and a few others.

All items can still be bought and played after the event has ended. The game mode and the map are also still playable afterwards.
