Zapping Foot National Hugo Lloris: The big dates in blue
The start of the school year is approaching for the France team. The Blues will face the Netherlands on March 24 at the Stade de France, then Ireland on March 27 in Dublin, as part of the qualifiers for the 2024 Europa Championship in Germany. While Didier Deschamps, who has extended until 2026 at the head of the tricolor selection, will reveal his list, Thursday at 2 p.m., RMC Sport reveals the first trends.
Camavinga left side, big first for Fofana?
Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga is expected to feature in Didier Deschamps’ list with defenders. RMC Sport explains that the player trained at Stade Rennais understudy of Théo Hernandez, since Lucas Hernandez (knee) will not play again for the season. With the retirement of Raphaël Varane and the serious injury of Presnel Kimpembe, there should be some changes in the axis of the French defense. Wesley Fofana, who played eleven games in all competitions for two goals with Chelsea, could be called up for the first time by Didier Deschamps. On the other hand, Axel Disasi, who played the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, naturally applies even if he is in competition with the defender of OGC Nice, Jean-Clair Todibo.
Moussa Diaby back
In the offensive sector, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappé, Kingsley Coman, Olivier Giroud, Marcus Thuram and Randal Kolo Muani will be summoned by Didier Deschamps. Ousmane Dembélé and Christopher Nkunlu injuries should benefit Moussa Diaby adds RMC Sport. The former Paris Saint-Germain player, who has not been called up since June 2022, should therefore return to the France team.
Didier Deschamps’ list to face the Netherlands on March 24 at the Stade de France, then Ireland on March 27 in Dublin, as part of the qualifiers for the 2024 Europa Championship in Germany will, of course, be follow live on Foot-National.
