Despite the social unrest that has affected its iPhone factory in Zhengzhou, China, Foxconn ends 2022 with record sales, up 10.5% compared to 2021. The main manufacturer of Apple products wants turn the page on the repeated disruptions of its production.
Foxconn surprised financial analysts. The Taiwanese electronics subcontracting giant, the main assembler ofApple, announced on January 5 that it had closed 2022 with a record turnover of 6.622 billion Taiwan dollars, the equivalent of nearly 216 billion dollars. Compared to 2021, this represents an increase of 10.5%. Other financial details are yet to be disclosed. But analysts are also counting on an improvement in profitability, even if the operating margin should remain slightly below 3%.
