Three migrants in southwestern France have died after being run over by a train. The four of the migrants were on the trail near the seaside resort of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
The three died on the spot, the fourth was seriously injured. Two of them were Algerians, the country of origin of the other two is unknown.
Police say it’s unclear why the four were on the trail. According to the mayor of Ciboure, the town next to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, they were sleeping on the track.
